Before we take you through a workout, we first want to take the time to find out what you specifically need by performing your CFF “Fast Track” Strategy Session. This blue print is the very specific plans that we will use to design the program to get you to your individual goals. Every single person who works out at Carolina Family Fitness has a Blue Print designed for them.
During your Carolina Family Fitness Fast Track Strategy Session Consultation we will learn about your health history, any past injuries, and your training history along with your specific goals. We will also take you through a range of motion and flexibility evaluation and the base of our blue print – The Functional Movement Screen. During The Functional Movement Screen we will have you perform basic movements and we will find out exactly where your program should start and what it should include to get you started right.
For example, we will learn about any imbalances you may have that could eventually cause an injury. This screening is scored from a 1-21. 21 being the best you can get. You will get a score that will be incorporated into your blue print and your coach will guide you on what the next best step is for you. If you score above a 12 we are comfortable with you joining our group coaching membership right away. Our group coaching classes are written as a general program so before you join them we want to make sure you are ready for them. If you score under a 12 we would want to spend a few weeks making sure you are ready for the group coaching classes by performing a program written specifically for you to get you ready for the classes. This program will include correcting any imbalances you have and will be done in a semi-private setting.
Your CFF Fast Track Strategy Session will also incorporate an assessment to determine your body fat percentage, your specific metabolism (so important), your lean muscle mass, your current fat mass, cellular hydration levels, BMI, as well as a simple baseline assessment of your current cardio and strength level. All of this information is used to create your very own customized program in order to reach and even exceed your personal goal. There is no guessing on how much weight you should be lifting. You will be assured that you are working out at 70-85% of your maximum to safely and quickly progress as well as be assured that our program design team will be ready to progress and frequently change your customized program as you reach each level of your training.

A Kettle Bell is basically a weight with a handle on it that can be used for numerous exercises you don't typically see in a gym. It may seem intimidating at first and I highly recommend that you have an instructor teach you how to work out using them. Before you join our group coaching program we do want you to meet with one of our coaches to go through our Carolina Family Fitness Fast Track Strategy Session. The coach will guide you to the best group classes based on the results of your personal strategy session.
For those who wish to fine-tune their physique and absolutely maximize their results we offer our Carolina Family Fitness Nutrition Program. If you want to individualize your nutrition more than what we have given you in our journal this is the answer for you.
You will sit down with one of our nutrition coaches every other week for 8 weeks and really dial in your nutrition. This takes all the guesswork out of nutrition for optimal health, optimal fat burning, muscle building or sports performance.
